The National Sportsmanship Awards presented by Maryville University is this Saturday, April 30 at Edward Jones St. Louis Headquarters. This event is produced by the St. Louis Sports Commission and the Citizenship Through Sports Alliance (CTSA). It's a night that celebrates all that right in sports by recognizing those who uphold the principles of sportsmanship - respect, integrity, civility, and fair play. Bryane Heaberlin and her teammates from the U.S. Under-17 Soccer Team are such people. Kathleen Nelson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch chronicles their actions in the following story - Soccer players honored for helping needy rivals in Haiti.
You still have the opportunity to join us for a night that promises to be among the best in all of sports. The National Sportsmanship Awards inspires, entertains, and restores confidence in what we all love most about sports. Get your tickets today.
